I have always been drawn to places, people and objects that have been shaped with care.

Historic homes rich with character. Gardens that change with the seasons. The remarkable softness of medium format film. Handcrafted albums, fine art prints and heirloom frames, created to be lived with and loved for generations.

Just as deeply, I have always been drawn to the Victorian coastline, its windswept cliffs, quiet beaches and ever-changing light. The soft, weathered palette of the sea, limestone, sand and sky has gently shaped the way I see colour, light and composition. Those tones have become part of my work, finding their way into the photographs I create and the spaces I am most inspired to photograph.

Perhaps that is why I photograph the way I do.

I believe there is more to notice than first meets the eye. The warmth of afternoon light resting against a familiar wall. A child's hand reaching instinctively for their mother's. The quiet elegance of a beautifully designed room. A flowering garden in spring. The rhythm of the sea meeting the shoreline. These are the details that often become part of a family's story long before we realise they matter.

Photography, for me, is an act of noticing.

It is a way of honouring the places we return to, the people we love deeply and the fleeting seasons that gently shape our lives. Working with medium format film and digital allows me to preserve these moments with care, creating photographs that feel tender, enduring and thoughtfully made.

As a mother, I know how quickly childhood changes. I understand the longing to hold onto the ordinary moments that one day become extraordinary simply because they belonged to your family.

My hope is to create photographs that become part of your home, your story and your family's legacy, pieces that feel as though they have always belonged there.
